The ICU European Cheerleading Championship 2026 is held in Helsingborg Arena, a modern multi-arena in Helsingborg, Sweden.
Helsingborg Arena was inaugurated in 2012. Since then, the arena has hosted a lot of different events like World Cup in handball, Swedish Nationals in chess, concerts and much more. The arena was also the host of the Nordic Cheerleading Championship 2025 and the Swedish Cheerleading Nationals 2024, 2025 and 2026.

Get to the arena
Taxi services are limited in Helsingborg. We reccomend taking public transportation from the city centre, or take a walk.
Bus 10, 220, 250, 506 and 520 gets you from the city centre to the arena. Hop off on the stop “Olympia Park”. You can also take the bus to nearby stops “Slottsvångsskolan” or “Fredriksdalsplatsen”.
From the city centre it is about a 1.5 kilometer walk to Helsingborg Arena, where the ICU European Cheerleading Championship is held.

Parking

Capacity
Helsingborg Arena has two levels of stands. The arena’s full capacity is 5 000 people.


Accessibility
Helsingborg Arena is designed to be accessible for individuals with special needs.
Some of the accessibility features include:
- Parking. There are designated accessible parking spaces close to the arena entrance.
- Wheelchair access. The arena has wheelchair ramps and designated seating areas for spectators with mobility impairments.
- Restroom facilities. Accessible restrooms are available.

Amenities
In addition to the main hall, there are two full-sized warm-up halls, football pitches outside, changing rooms, conference rooms, a restaurant and kiosks.
We will offer the option to pre-order meals during the Championships. Please note that bringing outside food into the arena is not permitted.
