Arriving in Helsingborg

Fly

We recommned flying in to Copenhagen Airport. You get to Helsingborg easily with train from the airport, which takes about an hour.

You can also fly to the smaller, local international airports Ängelholm Helsingborg Airport or Malmö Airport. From Ängelholm Helsingborg Airport you can get in to the city with car/taxi, which takes 30 minutes. From Malmö Airport it takes about 60 minutes with car/taxi.

Train

Traveling from Copenhagen Airport (or Copenhagen city) to Helsingborg by train is easy and convenient. Direct trains depart regularly from the station located by the airport terminal, taking you across the iconic Øresund Bridge. The journey takes approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes, offering scenic views along the way. You can buy train tickets and check schedules on Öresundståg’s website. Tickets can also be purchased at ticket machines in the airport terminal, but buying in advance online is easy and convenient.

If you take the train to Helsingborg from Stockholm, Malmö or another Swedish city, you can travel with the train company SJ.

Get around

Walk

Helsingborg is a walkable city with a lot to discover. From the city centre it is about a 1.5 kilometer walk to Helsingborg Arena, where the ICU European Cheerleading Championship is held.

Bus

Skånetrafiken is the local public transportation.
